Im trying to upload a video to my website, but not via youtube or dailymotion/others.
When I upload it, it shows up as a link, and if I click on the link, the video gets downloaded.
So instead of a video, it just shows up a link where people can click and download that video.
The video is quicktime.
Im trying to upload the video so people can watch it on the website, but im clueless of what can be causing this issue. I was thinking its because it doesnt support quicktime movies, but im not sure.

Is the quicktime video in .mov format? I’m not sure if the mediaelementjs scripts works with that, http://mediaelementjs.com/.
It looks like this plugin lets you play quicktime movies though, https://wordpress.org/plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/.
