Hello All,
For some strange reason the video short code on Enfold does not show a video but only a link. Can anyone tell me how i can resolve the problem. If I click the link the video appears in a lightbox.
thanks a lot
cheers

Hey santhoshkodukula!
I didn’t see the link anywhere. Is your video on youtube or vimeo? If so then make sure in your account settings that the video is set to be public and not private.
Cheers!
Elliott
Dear Elliott,
Thanks a lot for the reply. Please have a look at http://emwf2015.iclei.org/contact/ I tried to insert a video through the shortcode from template and cannot see the video but only the link. The video is from vimeo.
On the other hand, I used the shortcuts plugin to insert a video on the front page and it worked. I will be glad if you can tell me a way that I can get the template to do the same what the plugin does.
I am sorry I did not understand your mention of changing the account settings.
cheers

Hi,
Can you please create us a WordPress administrator account? post it here as a private reply.

Hey!
Your WordPress install seems to have troubles using the oEmbed functionality, this is a native WP feature (which Enfold uses for its Video element), try activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme and paste a video URL into a Page/Post, you’ll note that the embed doesn’t occur and instead only a link is inserted so that discards a the issue from being a theme one, it may be related to a server configuration, please contact your provider for more info on that.
Alternatively you can manually paste the generated iframe code from the Vimeo video into a Text Block element or similar:
Best regards,
Josue
Thanks a lot for the support Josue! I will check with our network providers on the oEmbed functionality.
