Hello,
I have a MP4-video that I have uploaded to a post that does not show up when i visit the site on my phone. I put it inside a Fullwidht Easy slider.
The video is square format 1030×1030, i have the same Slideshow videosize selected, in setting i use the 1:1 ratio, I have the “Try to match the default slideshow but stretch the video to filll…”, in response i have the “Hide on very small screens (smaller than 479px – eg: Smartphone Portrait)” unchecked.
Do you have any idea why it does not show up on my phone? Video works on desktop but not phone. Many thanks!
Kind regards,
Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
Unfortunately background videos are disabled on mobile for compatibility reasons.
You can add Video element to your page and choose to hide it on desktop, display it on mobile and hide your slider on mobile, display on desktop under Advanced > Responsive when you edit the elements :)

Thanks very much for your reply! We will try this.
When we are looking at this page on a laptop / pc with the video activated, the page is taking quite a few seconds to load and we are concerned that people will not wait for the page to load and disappear.
How can we make this page load quicker? Is there a plugin we can use or should we compress the video?
Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m not aware of any video compression plugins, but I’m sure there are ways of compressing the video locally. After you have gotten the size of the video down to an acceptable size, then you can upload it to your site again.
Best regards,
Rikard
