    Hey guys,

    Here I foud a page that makes the video start from the blog page http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-minimal-photography/blog/ the fifth entry.

    But I like to use the blog settings that show the items in a grid. And then I cannot get it to work that the video is clickable from the blog post page. Only on the blog post itself. Can it be played from the page with the blogs?

    Hi Granis,

    The page on the demo is just a blog page, not built with the blogposts element, this could be the reason it works different.

    What do you mean? I have built it with the blogpost elements. I thought maybe you meant cause the page is set as blog page so I made a new one but the same issue persists.

    Hi,

    You have to set the post format to “Video”. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the “Grid Layout” blog style. There’s a workaround but you have to use the portfolio items and the Portfolio Grid element.

    Oh that would be nice, do you have a explanation on how to do that? I have added a new page with the grid layout and a video in the portfolio items and selected that categrory to show in the portfolio grid on the newly made page. But still no video can be played.

    Hi,

    Create a portfolio item then look for the “Overwrite Portfolio Link setting”. Set it to “Define custom link” then add the video url. In a page, insert the Portfolio Grid element. The video will open inside a lightbox once the portfolio item is clicked.
