Hi there,
I would like to play a video full screen (or at least full width) with sound and an option to mute and pause the video.
Background video works and i got it to play sound, but now you can’t turn it off which can be annoying to visitors.Could you help me with this?
Best, Eva
October 20, 2016 at 2:46 pm #701875Hey Evadidly,
Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/color-section-with-100-container/ and create a Color Section element with 100% container width and place Video element inside that color section, best of both worlds :)

YigitFebruary 1, 2017 at 5:38 pm #741369Hey Yigit,
Up til now I got the background video working in a content section. But now (maybe it was before as well) the video doesn’t autoplay anymore. And since there are no play/pause buttons it doesn’t play at all.
I actually can’t find the ‘color section’ in my builder, does this still exist?
Ideal would be a full screen video with play/pause option and with sound.Hope to hear from you.

February 2, 2017 at 2:29 pm #741790Hi Eva,
Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out where we can see the actual problem, I get redirected to /en/ when I navigate to the URL you posted and that leads to a 404 page.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 2, 2017 at 8:33 pm #742015Hi Rikard,
That is also a problem I just opened a new thread about the 404.. I’m not able to fix it on my own I think..!The URL of the original site is http://roefamsterdam.nl/ but your browser probably goes to English. Please click on the dutch flag for this issue. When you click on “Wat” there should be a video that might or might not play. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t.

VinayFebruary 9, 2017 at 1:22 pm #744794Hi guys,
That wasn’t my question, the sound already works actually.. I’ve been waiting quite some time for response to this question, and now I get an answer to another question.. Should I open a new thread or something?
Here’s the question again:

February 9, 2017 at 9:45 pm #745080Hi,
Thank you for the clarification, I’m sorry you had to wait long.
Color section is the 2nd Layout Element from right.
Try adding the video to Color Section > Section Background > Background Video
Please note the audio does not play by default in a color section.
Load the audio using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?type=term&q=background+sound
Or give these plugin a try https://wordpress.org/plugins/video-background/

VinayFebruary 13, 2017 at 7:37 pm #746580Allright thanks. I am using the theme in Dutch so it’s called a Content Section.. ;)
Than I’ve already been using this background video option for a while. The only big problem is that I’ve made it play sound and autoplay. But sometimes the autoplay just doesn’t work and people would never know that it is a video…So long story short; is it at all possible to have a background/full screen video with play/pause buttons… (and sound..)?
Thanks!!
February 20, 2017 at 9:24 am #749227Hi!
You can add a custom audio control to the color section. Example here:
// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-audio-option-on-fullscreen-background-video/#post-692952
Unfortunately, this is not going to work for the play/pause button.
