Tagged: sidebar
Hi, we’re going to be featuring a page that just features links to video screen casts we’ve made about our product. So what we’d like is to feature these links in the sidebar of every page. Is there a way to do this or do we have to create custom widgets?
Also, until we upload these videos, we’d like to remove the sidebar completely. I think someone mentioned it cannot be done without hiring someone to redesign the framework, etc. but I saw on another post that certain codes could be added to the custom css to remove the sidebar from certain pages and it worked. So surely it can be done – what would I have to enter into the custom css to remove the sidebar from all pages, until we get our video content ready?
In each page’s layout section just select “No sidebar” or do you want just a global solution that handles every page at once?
Michael
Or set the global behavior in “Enfold” -> “Sidebar”
Hi Michael,
Your solution worked. I’m sorry for the ridiculous question – It’s just that I tried those options right in the beginning but the sidebar wouldn’t budge. Now, however it seems to be working. I was just learning to use the theme what I tried it the first time, so it’s possible I hadn’t been saving those changes.
Thanks!
But my question about the video feed still remains? Any idea on how that could work?
Hi,
You can create a Custom Widget on Appearance > Widget then use the Text Widget. Insert the HTML codes there. Apply the custom widget on all pages.

Ismael
Awesome, thanks Ismael!
