Our website http://www.sparkchart.com has upgraded to WordPress 4.7.3 automatically. We are running Enfold 4.0.2. Suddenly, the videos in the ALB on our website are not working. See the home page http://www.sparkchart.com and also https://www.sparkchart.com/why-us/ . The videos are running fine on Youtube as well as other places like Facebook, Linkedin and Google +. We also have a link to the video in the home page full scrren slider and that works fine. Can you let us know if the issue with ALB video elements is likely to have anything to do with the Enfold Theme (and the WordPress upgrade).
Thanks.March 8, 2017 at 12:17 am #757376Just following up to see how you are going with this support query. Thanks
March 8, 2017 at 5:10 am #757468Hi again. This is becoming very urgent thanks. We have launched a marketing campaign and the videos are critical to it. Thanks
March 8, 2017 at 6:03 am #757482Here is a little more information to help. I have tested one of the videos on another site with Enfold with the same result. A black screen and an error message when trying to play. This is the code I have been using and has the problem. This url has been working without a problem for about 6 months:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=xqmFufSwmbI%3Frel%3D0
I have just tried removing the ?rel=0 and using https://www.youtube.com/embed/xqmFufSwmbI and that works.
I hope this helps. I could work through the website and change everywhere but would prefer to have your advice before I do that.
Thanks
March 8, 2017 at 6:39 am #757494Oh, and I would prefer to use the ?rel=0 so that other youtube videos don’t come up at the end.
March 8, 2017 at 6:52 am #757501Hi,
Did you try with this type of format?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0k3kHtyoqc
If that doesn’t work then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Also, please note that your thread will be sent to the back of our support queue each time you post.
Best regards,

Thanks for your response. Yes, that format does work. However we don’t want the Youtube videos distracting at the end of the video playing. Hence, the ?rel=0 at the end. This code has been working without a problem for 6 months. I also tested the link with?rel=0 directly into a browser and that brings up the video. I don’t understand why it has suddenly stopped working. No plugins have been added. just the regualr updates and in particular the recent WordPress update. Login details are attached.

March 8, 2017 at 10:08 am #757641Hi Rickard. I have tested further and I can use the “watch?” code and add ?rel=0 to the end and it works. “embed” and “?rel=0” does not work anymore. It was working only a couple of days ago without problem. Anyway, that means I have to go through all the pages that use videos on our website and change the code for every page. I will start doing that but I would appreciate your views on the cause of the problem. Thanks.
MarkMarch 9, 2017 at 7:42 am #758193Hi Mark,
Thanks for the feedback and glad you got it working. As far as I know we haven’t changed anything in the Video module, so this might be something which has changed at Youtube. We will likely know that for sure if more user report problems with URLs like that.
