I used the page builder video element to place three videos in the website on this page

however in firefox all I can see is a link to download the file.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

    Hey!

This is what I see on Firefox 26.0 Windows 8. On what browser and OS are you testing this with? What is the format of the videos that you used?

    Cheers!

    Thanks Ismael,

I’ve looked at it on both Mac OS 10.9 with Firefox 26 and Mac OS 10.8.4 with Firefox 25.0.1 and on both of them I see this: Screenshot of firefox video page

    The videos are MP4

    Hi!

I’m sorry but I don’t have an iOS device to check this with. Please wait for Devin’s and Josue’s response.

    Cheers!

    Hi!

I just checked the site with a fresh download of FF on 10.9.1 and the videos loaded up and I was able to play them the same as in Chrome.

You may want to try re-installing FF and updating your OS in case there was something specific in 10.9.1 that changed things. If you have any FF extensions or plugins installed make sure to try disabling them as well.

    Cheers!

We dicussed this a bit internally as Josue wasn’t getting the videos in FF on his end. It looks like when the individual users hardware supports the mp4 decoding then it will work for them but if not then FF doesn’t have support for mp4 otherwise: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/HTML/Supported_media_formats

    Hey!

You’d need to upload and set a ogg/ogv fallback version in order to make it work in Firefox.

    Best regards,
    Josue
