    Hi there,

I’d like to put a video carousel/row of videos (with an optional title and description underneath) in place on the home page.

Something a little like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ah3TCImD_LShinh8uO3DypGxBjrNCSQ6/view?usp=sharing
    Another example: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZRFRE7bbkodd0HvWYx9zAAbM3IHUKeHa/view?usp=sharing

Is there a video gallery that I could use?

    Can you please advise?

    Any questions let me know.

    Thanks

    Colm

    Hey Colm,

We cannot see the screenshots, can you please make them private?

    Best regards,

    Hi Colm,

We have a blog grid that will show you the layout that you need. Here is the demo:

The posts shown in that grid are built with the Classic editor and so they have formats like audio and video.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Thanks Victoria – can you please provide me with instructions on how to put these into my home page?

Also, I would like each entry to showcase a video – and not link into a post.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Colm,

You can build a post that has a video format and add show it in the blog post grid, you can do it on a test page first.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Can you please elaborate here?

‘You can build a post that has a video format’

Can you please tell me how to select a video format type on a post as you mention above?

‘and add show it in the blog post grid, you can do it on a test page first.’

Can you please tell me how to create a blog post grid?

Here are the steps I have taken so far:
Home page > Content Elements > Blog Posts > Can you please tell me where I select the grid layout here?

    Thanks

    Colm

    Hi mckeown2,

When you build posts with Classic editor you can set the post format:

Also, give these posts a category that will identify them.

And then you create a page with the Advanced Layout Builder and add the Blog posts element:

Showing posts from a certain category:

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,
    Victoria
