Hi, I have put together a few videos and still images using layerslider to produce a short presentation. The videos reproduce much darker than when they are played in a player like VLC or the windows photos app. The still images reproduce with the same brightness. There is a filter option in layerslider but it is locked (for those who purchased the standalone version). How can I adjust the brighten of a video that is in a layer? Do you know why all videos appear with a significantly reduced brightness when the layerslider runs? My website is not public, it’s on my local machine using WAMP, so I cannot share a link to it. Thanks.

    Hey jonbuss,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

We haven’t really encountered that issue before. Maybe there’s an overlay above the video layer? Is the brightness the same when you use the theme’s slider elements?

Please let us know once the site is live so that we can check it properly.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Hello, I have the same problem with the images in my Fullwidth Easy Slider (not video).
The images, which I have used for the Easy Slider are looking much darker. The images look normal when importing them in the site. The problem is just with the Easy Slide. Maybe there’s really an overlay above it.
How can I remove it? Please, help!
I am using the “Travel Demo”.

    Thank you.

I have found the Overlay settings:
When an image in the Easy Slider is selected – it opens an “Edit Form Element” window and there is an “Advanced” tab menu. In this Advanced menu there is an option to “Enable Overlay? Check if you want to display a transparent color and/or pattern overlay above your slideshow image/video”.
