August 12, 2014 at 4:42 pm #303295Hey GOWD!
What version of Safari? I just checked it on my macbook and had no issues with the video.

Version 7.0.5 (9537.77.4)August 13, 2014 at 4:56 am #303615I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be showing for you. Is the video url viewable directly when you try it with safari?
August 13, 2014 at 2:19 pm #303828Hi Devin, when I tried to view the Video on YouTube using Safari it said that my Flash player was out of date.
I have downloaded and updated it.
On Safari I can now watch the video on YouTube but on the website the video background displays as a poor quality still image?August 14, 2014 at 3:18 am #304125Hey!
It doesn’t have a poor quality on my end – http://i.imgur.com/SDV6e5Q.png
I believe that could happen because of particular factors like bandwidth.

bandwidth is not an issue as I am testing it on Chrome, Firefox and Safari over the same 50Mb broadband connection (speed verified) on the same Pc and Safari is the only one where the video does not play.
It just displays a still image from the start of the video.
Any idea why?August 15, 2014 at 4:41 pm #304979I’m not sure there is anything we can do in this case. Youtube is providing the video and its entirely up to their service to render the preview, play the video and adjust its quality if applicable.
The theme sets the data to attempt to play it at the highest resolution possible but if there are other factors client side preventing that there isn’t anything else we would be able to do.
