    Hi,

I embed an mp4 background-video on the homepage. First via a link to the mp4-file on my own server. Than via Youtube.
Everything is fine for me but my client can’t see the video. He can see it in Chrome, but in Firefox and IE the video doesn’t load at all.

Do you have any idea what the problem could be and how to solve it?

I hope that someone can help me out….

    Many thanks, Alice

By the way: I already compressed the full-screen movie to 3 MB

    Hey!

It displays fine on Firefox on my end as well, could you try to get some more information from your client? Also please try to get him or her to clear the browser cache and reload a few times.

    Cheers!

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for checking it out! It’s probably the browsers cache. Sorry for the late response….my client isn’t that fast. (Big office…)

When I set a background-image as well, does it work like a ‘fall-back’ for visitors who can’t load the video? That would be the best solution I guess…

Thanks anyway…..enfold is absolute one of the best themes ever!
    Alice
