June 30, 2014 at 6:03 pm #285319Hi erwanpia!
For the background, no I don’t believe so. The player is rendered from Vimeo and we don’t have any control of its appearance. The looping option can be manually changed to never loop for any video background in the theme files but there isn’t any other option for it.

How do I access the repeat options for a backrgound video?
I am using background videos wit the ‘Color Section’ option NOT the ‘Easy Slider’ option.
Is there a way to get my background videos with the ‘Color Section’ option to repeat? They currently are not. I am using Youtube.
Thank you!

Video background loops by default (section.php, line 442). Can you post a link to your website?

The videos are looping on my end (Chrome / Mac OS X 10.9), try checking it on a different computer.
Cheers!
JosueAugust 1, 2014 at 5:51 am #298592Hmmm.. that’s strange. it IS working now :)
I tell you what, just in case you are curious and ever come across this scenario again.
At the top of the page I have a ‘Color Section’ with a background video.
I have another of the same thing at the very bottom.
For a short amount of time time I also (right above the bottom Color Section) had a Easy Flexible Slider with an IMAGE background.
And I just deleted that Easy Flex Slider with the image background today and for some reason all the videos are looping now. ..
So – maybe something about having different section types on the same page can over rule some of the theme’s PHP or CSS? I’m not a developer so I don’t know . But I wanted to give this food for thought to your team in case you come across similar scenarios.
Thank you!!

August 1, 2014 at 5:57 am #298598Hey!
Did you use the same video as a slide in that easy slider? i remember seeing some API errors in the Console back when the videos weren’t looping.
Best regards,
JosueAugust 1, 2014 at 6:00 am #298603No. It was just an image slide at the time.
But before I used the Color Section with video at the top of the page, I was using a flexible slider video. And that one did have the same video. But then I swapped it out.
But the other Flexible Slider toward the bottom was just a stationary image.

JosueSeptember 28, 2014 at 3:01 pm #326154Is it only possible to loop background Vimeo videos by editing the section.php file? And does that mean that either all background videos loop or not? Is it possible to have a choice? I would like some videos hosted by Vimeo to loop and some to only play once. It seems as though this kind of control would be important to many developers.
I am curious why you don’t allow embed code rather than the URL, to provide more control over the playback of Vimeo.
However, the display of full screen Vimeo with no controls or pause button is amazing! I have been trying to do this for a long time with various sliders, etc., but Enfold gives the cleanest look to full screen video I have seen:
