I installed 4.7.6.1 this morning to solve another problem only to find that when we go to edit a page, we get a screen that has the standard editor “body” box followed by the ALB menu followed by the existing elements inserted using the ALB but with all of them displaying the PHP code that builds them.
I have now reverted to 4.7.6 to be able to continue working on the site, but this has reintroduced the issues at the new version fixed.
Please can someone look into this urgently as it’s impossible to edit pages in the latest version
Thanks
July 26, 2020 at 4:53 am #1233273Hey sylvia5113,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked it and made changes to the child theme’s stylesheet from arabesque to arabesque.new and the issue doesn’t show up.
The issue might still be showing on your end because of the cache, please try to clear your browser’s cache.Best regards,
NikkoJuly 30, 2020 at 12:12 pm #1234141Thanks for taking a look
I have gone in to edit a page and don’t have the problem and also logged in as the user who first spotted the issue without any problems.
I can only assume it is one of those strange glitches that then sorted itself out when we switched back and forth between the two theme releases.
I’ll come back to you if it suddenly happens again.
July 31, 2020 at 9:23 am #1234321Hi sylvia5113,
I’m glad to hear that it’s fixed.
Most of these cases are due to cache, we’ll keep this thread open so you can post back if it happens again :)Best regards,
