    I need to verify domain name ownership for Google for one of my clients by pasting meta tags in the <head> section of the website.

    On a forum, I found that I need to do the following:
    Admin Dashboard>Appearance>Editor>find and click (on right) header.php.

    I have activated the Enfold Child theme and when I go into the Admin Dashboard and into Editor, I am unable to find the header.php file under the child theme. I can only find it under Enfold.

    If I add the meta tags in the Enfold header.php file, will they not be overwritten when I update the theme?

    Your help in how to best add the meta tags would be greatly appreciated before I mess things up.

    Hey Ivana!

    You can copy header.php file to your child theme and then edit it. This way, it will not be overwritten in future updates.
