Hi support,
After updating to ver 4.2.6 nearly all (but not all) of my product pages display blank. I searched here and was advised to update my site PHP to 7.x.
“The issue occurs on servers running PHP versions older than 5.6. You can either upgrade your PHP version to minimum 5.6 and preferably to 7.x or replace /wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php file with this one – https://www.dropbox.com/s/r389b5x4ippscyn/header.php?dl=0 to bring up backwards compatibility with older PHP versions.”
I worked with my hosting provider and updated my PHP to 7.0.
I’m still having the same issue with the product pages coming up blank.
Currently on the site I’m working off of a backup child theme.
April 14, 2018 at 7:21 am #941840Hey Andrew,
The product in private is working just fine on my end, and I can see that you are running the latest version of the theme. Are you sure that you are not getting cached results?
Best regards,
RikardApril 15, 2018 at 4:40 am #942118No Rikard, my current backup site which I’m running off of is Enfold Version: 4.0.7. I’ll run 4.2.7 over the night for you to see.

April 15, 2018 at 7:33 am #942147Hi,
If you go to the URL in private, the version there says 4.2.6. You must have edited that manually if you are actually running 4.0.7?
Best regards,
RikardApril 15, 2018 at 6:55 pm #942251Because 4.2.6 broke our website and the product pages do not display anything but the header, we are running off a a 4.0.7 back up.
The active child theme you are seeing is 4.0.7. Please include an email for an admin account i can make for you so you can see for yourself.
April 16, 2018 at 4:36 am #942408Hi,
Ok, thanks for the feedback. I think we have to have a closer look at that. You can use (Email address hidden if logged out) , just remember to post the login details in private in your reply so that it’s available to all moderators.

RikardApril 16, 2018 at 2:29 pm #942584Thanks, that would be really helpful! When you investigate, remember I’m running the 4.0.7 backup. The main theme is the Enfold by JAM.
April 17, 2018 at 6:52 am #942952Hi,
Thanks for that, are we allowed to activate the 4.2.6 version to be able to reproduce the problem?
Best regards,
RikardApril 17, 2018 at 2:15 pm #943110Yes sir, go for it! =)
April 18, 2018 at 7:02 am #943442Hi,
Thanks for that, I get the same problem on my end when I activate 4.2.6, though I can’t see any error messages at all either on the page or in the console which is a bit strange. Just a blank page without any clues as to what could be going wrong. We’ll be releasing 4.2.7 within the next few days, could you hold off with updating and try that version instead maybe? Since 4.0.7 seems to be working fine for you then it might be better to just wait for the next version.
Best regards,
RikardApril 18, 2018 at 3:47 pm #9436424.0.7 is working but not ideal. There are some features that I’ve been unable to find or do not exist that prevents me from making a 1-1 clone of my site on 4.2.6. For example, we can’t seem to get the font to work properly. Suttle differences and more like that are frustrating.
Am I understanding that you are unable to diagnose why my site broke on 4.2.6?
April 22, 2018 at 12:56 am #944993Hi,
After updating to ver 4.2.6 nearly all (but not all) of my product pages display blank. I searched here and was advised to update my site PHP to 7.x.
Did you happen to add the purchase button element to the product pages? This thread might help.

IsmaelApril 24, 2018 at 4:50 pm #946025Hi Ismael,
I have not added any new purchase buttons to my pages. I’m still getting the issue where all of my product pages are blank except one. Why is https://www.battlebrothers.com/product/natural-badger-shaving-brush/
but
https://www.battlebrothers.com/product/black-synthetic-shaving-brush/does not? I can’t seem to find the difference when digging into side by side.
I worked with WooCommerce to see if this was something on their end, they also believe its something in the Enfold theme.
Thank’s for the link to the other thread, I looked through it but not sure if it applies directly.
April 26, 2018 at 11:21 am #947198Hi,
It doesn’t need to be a new product purchase button. As long as there is a product purchase button in the produt, the issue will occur. Please upgrade the theme to version 4.3. The fix is already included there so you don’t need to add it manually.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 26, 2018 at 2:34 pm #947296Updating to 4.3 lead to a catastrophic error! Now the site is completely down without access to the backup though WordPress. Every single admin page says Fatal error: (see Private Content section).
Doesn’t make sense that updating 4.3 corrupts the WordPress theme to an irreversible state. I’m conducting a site backup via server side right now to get it back.

April 26, 2018 at 9:25 pm #947469Well, that was stressful. I had Bluehost support helping me with the backup, they confirmed that something during the theme updating process corrupted my site. The site is back up, and I’m back to square one with my problem.
April 26, 2018 at 9:35 pm #947470I spoke too soon, going back to the Enfold theme I get his issue (see private content).

April 26, 2018 at 10:16 pm #947485Since upgrading to 4.3, my site has been inoperable. Even restoring it back to older versions, there are problems that continue to plague my site that is theme related! This is getting increasingly frustrating. Is there a time I can schedule dedicated support to work with someone?
April 26, 2018 at 11:03 pm #947515Is there a way I can escalate my site issue? I have two major partnership soft openings April 30th with GovX.com and the Patriot Trading Co. Both are going to bring a ton of visitors to my broken site!
April 28, 2018 at 8:56 pm #948448Hi,
Please delete the files from your FTP and upload again from there.
If you do that – it would solve your issues.Best regards,
