The Events Calendar documentation says the following:
But the venue and the organizer are not linked by default on our site. Would be great if you could make that working.

According to Events Calendar documentation Creating Venue and Organizer Pages you must use the Events Calendar Pro for Venues and Organizers to have their own pages.
This is why you can not view your Venues and Organizers pages directly and why they can’t be linked to.Best regards,
