    Hi all,

I am new to using this theme and WordPress in general and would like some advice. I am currently using the Enfold Photography demo in a child theme as a baseline. I really like the masonry element in the portfolio page but am quite confused on how to set it up to achieve the following: Instead of having each individual portfolio item in the grid, is it possible to display the portfolio categories(with a featured image) and have each one link to another “sub” masonry grid with the associated portfolio items?

For example in the demo at http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-photography/portfolio/, instead of having “Burning Man”, “Trip to Nepal”, etc in the main grid, I would like to put “Events”, “Landscapes”, “Wedding”, each with a featured image. Clicking on “Events” it will bring me to a new page with a grid displaying the appropriate portfolio items (e.g “Burning Man”, “Trip to Nepal”).

At the moment I can only display entries from “Category”, “Post tag”, “Post format”, and “Portfolio Entries” in the Masonry options, do I need to create a new taxonomy for this? I apologise if there is a simple solution or workaround to this!

    Thank you,
    Han

    Hey HY!

not sure if it will be easily possible and please follow this thread for a possible solution: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/custom-post-type-in-masonry/#post-433758

You can make a feature request for this function here: kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

    Best regards,
    Andy
