    Dear Kriesi support team,

currently i’m using a theme that comes with it’s own framework.
I’m thinking about a change to the Enfold theme that comes with Avia.

Before I change, I want to make sure that I will be able to write blog articles using the advanced editor by Avia without any limitation.

Currently I’m not able to use my theme’s editor because Yoast SEO does not detect the text blocks as article content.
Additionally the frontend does not notice any text as excerpt.

Will those things work with Enfold?

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

    Hey Tom,

Thanks for reaching out. The problem with Yoast is the same with the builder for Enfold, the reason is that Yoast cannot read shortcode which most layout builders use. Please have in mind that it won’t affect your actual SEO results though.

If you use the Enfold layout builder for your posts, then you will have to add the excerpt to the post manually.

    Hope that answers your questions.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hey Rikard,

    thanks for responding.
Do you have plans for a better article support within Enfold?
Manually adding an excerpt destroys the layout in some cases.

    Have a nice week,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Ok, I wasn’t aware that manual excerpts destroys the layout. Could you post a link to an example maybe?

If you own a license already and you need technical support then please register on the forum and start a new thread there.

    Hi Rikard,

I’m not using Enfold, I just saw some layout example on your demo pages and compared it with my theme.
As far as I can see, you aren’t using the advanced editor for blog articles?
That would be essentially for me without the need of adding extra excerpts.

    Hi Tom,

I’m still not sure what you are referring to, could you post links so that we know what you are looking at please?

On our demos we use both the theme Layout Builder and the default WordPress editor.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
