May 19, 2015 at 8:23 pm #446681I know I can add the “read more” tag to a blog post. Is there any functionality like it that can be used in a regular text box on a page? Ideally I could introduce a longer text with a paragraph – if they are interested to read the whole thing, they click on “more” and the rest of the page slides down and reveals the rest of the story. A bit like the accordion function. May 20, 2015 at 6:08 pm #447342Hey Frank! What I would do is use the accordions and give them a custom CSS class, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/, and then style it so it looks like a read more link. Regards,
ElliottAugust 26, 2015 at 3:17 pm #493579I am afraid the custom CSS class is beyond me level of expertise. Should I add the functionality to the feature request page or can you tell me if something like this is already on the to-do list? August 26, 2015 at 3:26 pm #493597Hey! Yes, you can request it here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/ Enabling custom CSS class for ALB elements is not that difficult. You should simply copy paste the code to functions.php file and use custom CSS to style your element. We can help you with that if you point out the changes. Regards,
YigitJanuary 26, 2016 at 1:52 am #571766Hi, I am actually looking to create the same result as frankkremer. I would like to add a ‘more…’ button to the end of a paragraph (in a text-block) and user can click on the button and the rest of the text will slide down and reveals the rest of the story. Is there anyway I can do that other than using the Accordions? Kind regards,
