    Hi,

I’d like to use shortcodes to create job postings using WPJobBoard. The use of shortcodes within WPJobBoard has been activated with your help and works partially. Half of the shortcodes render properly, while the other half appear as text (HTML code).

The shortcodes ware generated this way: I created a page and used AVIA to add all elements to it. Once ready, I copied the shortcode and pasted onto the new job posting (via Job Board screen).
Once saved, I noticed that the [av] tag unravels in certain places and shows HTML code that may or may not be enclosed within the tags. When previewed, sure enough, those sections appear as html text.

Is there a compatibility issue with Enfold and WPJobBoard in regards to shortcodes? Could you let me know how to solve this issue? Thanks

    Hey designlover80,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

We need to login to the site. Please provide the details in the private field.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi designlover80,

Any full-width element is pushing sidebar below since there is no room for it. You need to use a different element not the color section, something like 1/1 on your blog page.

Could you please enable the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode. Here is how to do it: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Thank you for your reply.

The advanced layout builder is enabled. This is what I’m trying to create (see attachment):

The layout to be implemented has 4 sections: A, B, C and D
    – The sidebar is located next to B (on the right hand-side), so in the middle of the page, sandwiched between A and C
    – Below this is C, which has 3 columns and shouldn’t be constrained by the sidebar
    – D is a footer.

At the moment, I use a 1/1 element but the issue is: the width is constrained by the sidebar.

How can I create this multi-column section C, without it being clipped by the sidebar? Thanks.

    Hi,

1.) The job page above redirects to the home page. Please check it.

2.) The default sidebar container renders beneath the sections so you can’t place it between Section A and C. You have to disable the default sidebar and then replace it with the Widget Area element instead. Use the columns to separate the content from the Widget Area.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Great, using Widget area instead of the default sidebar solves the problem and enables precise control over positioning.
Just the solution I was looking for, thank you!
