Hi
I’ve been communicating with WooThemes support to identify this issue whereas when I try to view a single product, the page is blank.
Here’s the feedback from them:
“…I disabled your theme temporarily, and the product content was properly displayed using a WordPress default theme…
Then I tested with the Enfold parent theme, and the issue was back.
So, the issue is within your parent theme, not your child theme. I reverted the child back.
To get more details, please enable debugging and let me know what error message you receive.”I did enable debugging in my wp-config.php but can’t see the log.
You can see what’s happening here on my products:
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/aventurine-stretch-brace-001sbI have provided you with login credentials to the admin.
A quick response would be greatly appreciated because many of my products no longer work.
Thanks
LyseApril 30, 2015 at 11:10 am #437315Hey tremblayly!
Thank you for using Enfold.
There’s an internal server error when I checked the page. I noticed that there are tons of plugins installed in the site, total of 45. Do you really use all those plugins? Please deactivate all plugins except for woocommerce then activate them one at a time to find the culprit. Please contact your hosting provider for more info concerning the internal server error issue.

IsmaelMay 3, 2015 at 4:55 pm #438526Hi Ismael,
I’m not sure why you get a server error, but you can try any of the products in my shop and the problem exists. On first load it may work for one product, but try to view any other ones or the same and it stops working. Even the mega menu gets messed up.
Here’s further testing I’ve done.
I disabled all plugins, reactivated WooCommerce plugin onlym, and the problem exists. There was no need for me do test further and to assume that the problem is with my Enfold theme.
I reactivated all of my plugins.
I am planning to get rid of the Ninja plugins (4) replace the EventOn (3) for a better one. I will revisit others and determine which ones are really necessary, so to help with the number of installed plugins.
Thanks
LyseMay 5, 2015 at 4:04 pm #439790Hey!
I’m seeing it also.
"NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error - http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/afghan-garnet-bracelet-ly13-021b" afghan-...13-021b "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/wp-content/plugins/pdfcatalog/buttons.css?ver=4.2.1" buttons...
You can try turning on WordPress debugging, https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress, and then view one of your products that is having the problem and then check your server error logs to see if there is any useful information recorded.
Cheers!
ElliottMay 5, 2015 at 4:56 pm #439850Hi Elliott
Actually, if you can access http://www.lysetremblayjewelry.ca, go to shop for products, you can try any of them because the problem is with all of my shop! Sometimes it does not happen on the first load, try a couple. If you still cannot see the site, I will give you access to my WP Engine portal where you can see more of the logs.
Thanks for your patience

May 6, 2015 at 5:10 pm #440476Hey!
I activated the parent theme instead of your child and also deactivated all of your plugins and it started to work fine.
Try reactivating them one by one to see which one is causing the problem.

ElliottMay 6, 2015 at 5:43 pm #440522Hi Elliot,
The first plugin I activated was WooCommerce and get two errors and my site breaks! Without it I can even test.
On my live site I get the following error:
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /nas/wp/www/cluster-40314/lysejewelry/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 4377
In my wp-admin plugin page I get the following error:
Notice: Undefined index: plugin in /nas/wp/www/cluster-40314/lysejewelry/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 281When the plugin page is refreshed, the error goes away.
I reported this to WooCommerce support team.

May 7, 2015 at 11:54 pm #441310Hi Elliot,
There is something wrong happening with just switching between the parent and child theme – my mega menu gets messed up. This has been happening since the latest Enfold upgrade, however, I can’t prove it.
So much for wanting to sell my new products in time for Mother’s Day!
WooThemes support is also working to see what’s happening on their end. Hopefully I will find a solution to this issue.
Thanks
LyseMay 9, 2015 at 5:28 am #441871Hey!
I think the error occurs because one of the woocommerce extension is disabled, not sure what plugin but try to activate them one at a time. What is the mega menu issue exactly? Can you please provide a screenshot?
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 9, 2015 at 5:34 am #441873Hi Ismael
I reactivated the Query Monitor plugin and the error went away. This is a plugin WP Engine recommended I have.
Here’s a screenshot of the messed up mega menu when I switch to the parent theme.

May 12, 2015 at 7:39 am #442820Hi!
Is there any specific page where this is happening? I tried to activate the parent theme but I don’t see any error. The enfold main menu is not set though so all pages are displaying in the main menu.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 13, 2015 at 4:05 pm #443787Hi Ismael,
I have 4 websites using the Enfold theme, with 1 using WooCommerce, and all work well since the upgrade. I can’t figure out why this is happening to this website. WooCommerce support team installed WooCommerce, Enfold, and the Child theme locally and tested thoroughly. They think something is wrong with my install.I so do need my shop to work. I’m thinking to reinstall my theme. I see one category works – stretch bracelets (my new products ) but all other categories (older products) don’t display the single product page.

May 13, 2015 at 11:10 pm #444033Hi Ismael,
Here’s testing I’ve done myself and with WP Engine technician:
On my STAGING area, I reinstalled theme. Reactivated only the WooCommerce plugin – the problem persists
Then WP Engine switched to a default theme – my shop works well
Then WP Engine switched to the ENFOLD Child theme – my shop works well
I then preview with the parent ENFOLD theme and select the correct menu to display – the preview for single product does not display
I then activated the ENFOLD parent theme and updated the main menu to display – I get the following error:Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /nas/wp/www/staging/lysejewelry/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-breadcrumb.php on line 667
and the problem persists
HOWEVER, is I select the STRETCH BRACELETS category (which are all of my latest products)
on page 1 (15 products) #5-13 & 15 break the rest all display well
on page 2 (6 products) #4 (Amethyst) is on only one that works
AND if I select any other older products, none of the single product page display.I’m baffle with what else to do and how to get this fix. The parent theme is definitely causing the issue.
Thanks for your patience…
LyseMay 13, 2015 at 11:21 pm #444036Hi again
Here’s a link to my staging area
http://lysejewelry.staging.wpengine.com/shop (hosted on WPengine)May 14, 2015 at 3:41 pm #444342Hi!
The error points to the breadcrumb script. What happens when you set the Header Title and Breadcrumbs to Hide Both?
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 14, 2015 at 3:45 pm #444347Hi Ismael
The error goes away and my single product works well!
LyseMay 14, 2015 at 8:36 pm #444597Hi Ismael,
I copied my STAGING area to my live site, lost all of the widgets, but re-created them. The live site remains with the issue. If I switch to a default theme, the single product page works fine, if I go back to activating the ENFOLD theme, it breaks.
Can’t figure out what’s happening.
LyseMay 14, 2015 at 11:46 pm #444669Hi Ismael
Just an update.
The issue is definitely with the “breadcrumb script”. I was able to stabilize the live site as long as both the header title and breadcrumbs are hidden.
LyseMay 18, 2015 at 10:57 am #445572Hi!
Then WP Engine switched to the ENFOLD Child theme – my shop works well
I then preview with the parent ENFOLD theme and select the correct menu to display – the preview for single product does not displayIt is working when you activate the child theme? Do you remember adding or editing any files which might be related to the breadcrumb inside the child theme folder? Please switch to the child theme. We would like to check the breadcrumb structure. Post the login details to the staging site: http://lysejewelry.staging.wpengine.com/shop (hosted on WPengine)

I guess the problem is with these following categories:
2-piece Jewelry Set
3-piece Jewelry SetTry to change 2 with the word “Two” and 3 with “Three”. This product works OK without the said categories. It was included in the 3piece category:
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/black-onyx-and-smoky-quartz-bracelet-ly14-010b
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 18, 2015 at 4:39 pm #445803Hi Ismael,
I’ve renamed the categories as your suggested. I turned on the header title and breadcrumbs and the problem is back. I hide both and the problem goes away. I also tested in another browser hiding and not hiding the header settings and same problem. I’m not sure renaming the categories fixed the problem.
LyseMay 19, 2015 at 2:49 am #446153Hey!
Try to activate the breadcrumbs then check these products. There is an internal server error when I checked these:
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/afghan-garnet-bracelet-ly13-021b
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/afghan-garnet-bracelet-ly13-022bThis one works OK, breadcrumb is activated:
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/black-onyx-and-smoky-quartz-bracelet-ly14-010b
Please contact your hosting provider. This is a sample of the error:
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/lapis-lazuli-earrings-ly13-020e Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 19, 2015 at 7:27 pm #446655Hi Ismael,
I contacted my host WP Engine about the error and after discussing with them why I would be experiencing these errors sometimes and sometimes not while using the theme. The answer and testing done was:“that each page’s code and functions may differ simply from the Product Categories, if you have things like Coupons or Gift Certificates enabled and if you have any Custom Fields entered in. These types of things can differ from each product due to the number of combinations that can be made on every one.
But we are able to see a consistency with the pages you had sent us with the theme enabled.
To dive into it deeper in hopes to help, I found that its not exclusively with the child theme, its the Enfold theme alone causing the issue.
I went ahead and ran a curl with the following:
$ curl http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/afghan-garnet-bracelet-ly13-021b
I had found when doing this, the page ended on the following code:
</header>
<div id=’main’ data-scroll-offset=’88’>
This is showing me whatever the theme is requesting for after it states its starting that main div is what breaks it and might be a good place to start with the developer.”I am sharing their response in hope that you can pin point where they may be a code issue in the theme files.
Thanks
LyseMay 20, 2015 at 3:05 am #446869Hey!
I’m sorry if this issue is getting a bit too long to resolve. If possible, please give us the ftp credentials so that we can debug the issue further. Is the product category hierarchy in the breadcrumb important to you? If not, you can add this in the functions.php file to hide it:
remove_filter('avia_breadcrumbs_trail','avia_woocommerce_breadcrumb', 10);
The code should fix the issue as well.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 20, 2015 at 3:16 am #446871This reply has been marked as private.May 20, 2015 at 6:53 am #446932Hi!
Alright. Without the product category hierarchy in the breadcrumb, it is working:
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/afghan-garnet-bracelet-ly13-022b
http://lysetremblayjewelry.ca/shop/afghan-garnet-bracelet-ly13-021bYou need to add this in the Quick CSS field to fix the header container:
.stretch_full.container_wrap.alternate_color.light_bg_color.title_container { margin-top: 55px; }
This is a temporary fix. Instead of using the breadcrumb to go back to the product category, they can use the category and tag links below the add to cart button.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 20, 2015 at 2:54 pm #447115Hi Ismael,
I’m so sorry to report that after adding the CSS you provided, the problem comes back when I select any of the pearls categories. This is a nasty issue, it’s like viral!
LyseMay 21, 2015 at 2:30 am #447492Hi!
Hmm.. That’s weird. Most of the products that I checked are working. I’ll ask the rest of the support team if they have any idea why that particular category is not working.

IsmaelMay 21, 2015 at 2:55 pm #447748Thanks you
