Hi,
Today some visitors complained about that they were having a virus by visiting the contact page. I did a virus scan on ManageWP which detected malware in some pages of the Enfold theme and Enfold child theme. If I switch to another theme, the virus scan is clean. Can you please help me with this? It is urgent, because visitors can’t contact us through the contact form or read our most important page without being send to other websites.

The website is clean again after I did the following:
– download enfold theme and wordpress zip and unpack
– login on ftp and replace the theme folder with the new download of the theme
– remove wp-admin and wp-includes folder and replace with unpacked folders from the new wordpress fileI hope this will work for some time. I am thinking about installing sucuri. Any other options to prevent this from happening in the future?

Great, I’m glad you got things working. I would recommend that you change all passwords on the site, and a security plugin is likely a good start for a secure site. If you want to make your site even safer then you could follow the steps taken by this WordPress security service.

Did you try following the steps which worked for the user who opened this thread? If not then please try doing so. The theme does not contain any malware and cleaning a site can be quite difficult. I would recommend that you contact a service like Sucuri to get your site cleaned.
