    Hi I just updated my site to 4.8.6.3 and tried out the new footer option, which didn’t work, and then changed it back to the default (scroll with page) but the footer is not displaying. I deleted the cache, tried a few options, but it’s gone. Can you help me with this? Can I revert to the previous version of ENFOLD – my newest backup would mean I would lose some recent work. HELP!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I see that you have rolled back your site to the previous version, would you be able to update on a staging site so that we can see the actual problem please? If not, then please let us know what exactly we need to do in order to reproduce this problem.

    Hi Rikard,

    I can’t really make a staging site for that site, but all I did was install the update, go to the footer area, choose the new option (in beta). saved it and looked at the site but the footer was gray (missing content). I changed the footer option back to default (scroll) but my footer didn’t return. Tried clearing cache, changing other options (strectched option, boxed option) but the footer would not display again. I rolled back to a previous version.

    Hi Nancy,

    Have you modified header.php file on your child theme? All 4 websites I have seen with this issue so far had modified header.php file on their child theme. You could test it quickly by switching to Enfold parent theme temporarily :)

    If you have header.php file on your child theme, you can simply copy a fresh header.php file from Enfold 4.8.6.3 and re-apply the modifications on your child theme.
