I have opened a page on a client’s website to make a change to their enfold theme contact form.
When I saved/pressed update the page said 403 error – Access to this resource on the server is denied! The page was then blank when checked the front end after attempting to restore the page from a saved revision.
I then tried to rebuild the page and as soon as I added in a contact form it gives me the 403 error again.I have updated WordPress.
I have updated Enfold.
I have updated all the plugins (4 basic ones) and then disabled them all.
Added snippets of code to both wp-config and functions.php as per this forum suggestions on other user’s threads.
None of the worked :(Contact Form 7 works just fine.
Please help I really prefer using the enfold contact form and don’t want to have to rebuild it in contact form 7 for my client.

Thank you for using Enfold.
Could you please provide a screenshot of the error? We added the contact form element in a separate page but we didn’t encounter the error. https://www.orthodontist-brisbane.com.au/test/

IsmaelSeptember 5, 2016 at 9:01 am #682022Hello,
When I added a form or had a previous form in and tried to save it gave me this.
I received this error:
The link I gave to the old contact page. Can you go back to a previous version of the page – a month or more and see if you see the error?
September 6, 2016 at 2:40 am #682390I logged in today and everything seems to be working fine. Is it possible it was something with my network specifically and when you logged in it went back to normal? It was scary!
September 7, 2016 at 6:11 am #682953Hi,
I’m not sure but yes, it’s a possibility I guess. Glad it started working again though, we’ll keep your thread open in case you should have any further problems on the topic.
Thanks,
RikardDecember 20, 2016 at 12:59 am #726374Ok so after a long battle with my host provider it is definitely not an Enfold issue that is causing the 403 error :)
Thanks for your help regardless guys :)This topic can be closed.
