Hi have an urgent problem,
customer is going through the roof. E-Mail forms integrated via the Avia Layout Editor do not work.
WP, Theme and Plugins (incl. WPML) are all latest versions. The form does not present the ajax response message, it is empty. The email is not received in an email within the same domain.
There are no errors in error_log of the domain. WP Debug mode set true, does not show any errors.
EDIT: I tested some more. In the form, which does not work I use several Select/Dropdown fields, which must be filled. Once I delete all those the form sends ok! I need an urgent solution on that!
EDIT 2: I found the error! Please help to fix it: The problem is with “Select” fields, where the option is set to “must be filled”. This causes the form to hide, the response message NOT to show and the email is also NOT sent!

I made a test page (‘CF Test’) and it worked fine with my gmail address.
Best regards,
JosueJuly 14, 2016 at 10:08 pm #661040Dear Josue,
thanks for testing. The issue is still there, but was obviously not discovered in Your test.
Try the second form I pasted into the site You created. It does not work, if You do not change the values of the select/dropdown fields. If You change the values of all dropdown fields each to another value then obviously preselected, the form sends ok.
This is really curious, simply because not touching Your forms field “Betreff” does not cause this issue.

July 14, 2016 at 11:38 pm #661065Hi,
Here’s what i get when i try to reproduce the error by not touching the selects – http://screencast.com/t/Gliab2VoaI
Best regards,
JosueJuly 15, 2016 at 12:00 am #661072OK. I tried this and yes, it highlights the errors.
Now select one value for each field and submit. Its not sending/ not giving a response message.

July 15, 2016 at 1:32 am #661083Hi,
I think the bug comes from the Children field, try removing the 0 from it:
0,1,2,3
To:
1,2,3
Best regards,
JosueJuly 15, 2016 at 1:38 am #661085But what, if a traveller does not travel with children? I am trying to replace 0 by “none”..
July 15, 2016 at 1:41 am #661086Yep, this did the trick. Crazy. Anyways, maybe You can address this to one of Kriesis developers, just in case, since it drove me crazy. ;-)
July 15, 2016 at 2:30 am #661089Yeah i’ll report it to Kriesi.
