Hi
I’ve read all the previous threads on this can can’t find a solution.
Trying to upload black and white flaticons via unpacking zip, moving SVG onto fontello, then using icon manager upload after flushing all caches.
I note “It’s true that you can use icon fonts from flaticon but you have to unpack the file then upload the svg icons in the fontello.com > custom icon generator. Note that this will remove the color of the icons. We will ask Kriesi to clarify this.”
So I’ve followed all the instructions – tried everything but get the same issue – around half are usable, the other half appear as black squares.
I am trying to attach a screenshot
All the images are black/white and just linear.
Regards
Richard

Thank you for using Enfold.
Which specific icons are you trying to add? Some of the icons in the flaticon site are not supported so you have to download the svg format then upload it in the fontello.com site’s “svg to icon” generator.
Best regards,

Here’s an example:
http://www.flaticon.com/free-icon/smartphone_149390
Download SVG, drag into fontello custom icons, download webfont, upload enfold iconfront manager … but it appears only as a black square within the icon box.
Around half of the logos do this, the others are fine.
Thanks for looking into this.

November 15, 2016 at 1:10 am #712248Hi,
Icon you would like to import is not available as iconfont. You could try using custom CSS to use the icon.

The icon is black, linear, and when I import , say, around 10 of them that appear similar – half are not useable.
The follow on question is – how do you know which are available as iconfont, and which are not?
(Before uploading them)If there’s no way of telling, then I guess you upload a whole load and make a note of which are usable and then delete the lot – and restart the process with only the usable ones. This is very laborious!
Thanks
Richard
November 15, 2016 at 1:23 am #712257Hi!
You can check in this screen before downloading – http://i.imgur.com/8Jhfwrt.png Iconfont option should be highlighted and clickable like the others :)
Cheers!
