Hey guys,
This evening I wanted to do some work on my new site, however the avia site builder didn’t work. I saw a new updated deployed and I figured that would solve my troubles.
Unfortunately I could not update through the theme settings, when I tried to enter the relevant data it said it could not save settings and that I should reload. That did not work.Fortunately, I managed to download the newest version from themeforest and using the instruction video i found from you guys (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/), I uploaded the theme via FTP. However as soon as the upload finished, my entire site went down with a http error 500.
For my website I used the following plugins, besides the ” out of the box” plugins
– Google Tag manager
– Ubermenu (for which I did create a child theme to fix some issues, following the steps published by the plugin). Is there any way you guys can help me? My knowledge of wordpress/website building is at it’s limits to fix this myself unfortunately. Thanks!
I have included all relevant data in the private content section such as ftp login, website adress.

Now I hate people who post “solved” without telling other people how, so I won’t be one of those people:
I was reading other threads, with similar problems, in one of them someone said “4.3 broke my site”. Moderator Yigit replied telling the user to delete that file.
I decided to do the same, I deleted the file ” events_upcoming.php”, which is found in /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_upcoming/.
It worked! :)
So for now, you can mark this as solved.
