I found an interesting bug in the theme (I think). I have a home page that I’ve been updating since 2015. When I loaded a new background image into a new Color Section (selecting “upload files” as opposed to “media gallery” — using the Layout Builders upload option in Color Selection) the image gets incorrectly filed within the image archive: wp-content/uploads/2015/02. The correct location should be in: wp-content/uploads/2017/04.
However, when I duplicate the process, but load the new image into the WordPress library first (then select the image from “media gallery” when I’m in the Layout Builder’s upload option in Color Section), the image gets filed it the correct image archive.

I’ve never heard of that happening before, we will need WP/FTP login details to be able to check it. Please post the details in private.
Best regards,

April 25, 2017 at 10:53 am #782731Andy,
If you need to get into my WP Dashboard, please let me know. I had to change the p/w.April 26, 2017 at 8:19 am #783316Hi,
Sorry for the late response, I’ve checked the ftp and it’s working fine, however we do need the WP dashboard temporary admin access, so we can test the scenarios you pointed out.
Best regards,
NikkoApril 26, 2017 at 9:34 am #783346Hi. The new p/w is in Private.
When you go to test, please be sure not to use a new page, but the one from last year which is located here: http://dotorgwebworks.org/test-home/.
[the p/w for that is also in private]April 30, 2017 at 5:48 am #785184Hi,
This is the default way WordPress stores media files. You can test in on a default theme.
When you upload an image to an existing post or page with a published date in the past, it stores the image in the year-month folder that corresponds to the published date – not the upload date.
Best regards,
