UPDATE: Below issue fixed itself… I waited about 20 mins, kept clearing caches, and now site looks fine. I don’t know if it was a caching issue or that css / js files had to be recreated or what, but fine to close this thread.
Hi-
Thank you for the ability to upload Google fonts to our Enfold site!
I am running into an issue with this on my production site. On my staging site, I uploaded and all looks good. When I did the same thing on the production site, the body text looks like, but the heading text looks different. I’m sure not sure it’s still Open Sans, but a heavier weight, or a fallback font.
When I go into Enfold –> General Styling –> Fonts –> Heading Fonts
I have that dropdown and the other dropdown (“Font for your body text”) set to the uploaded font. The body text is Open Sans either way (uploaded font or Google Font Open Sans selection) but the header text only works if I use the Google font and not the uploaded font.
I have tried –
– Clearing browser cache
– Disability Fast Velocity Minify plugin
– Clearing server side cache
– Two browsers (Firefox and Chrome)
– Turning off all Enfold performance features
Any ideas?
thanks,
Rob

i downloaded from the google fonts helper page the open-sans with more stylings (300, 300i, 400, 400i, 600, 600i, 700, 700i) only for modern browsers (woff, woff2 files) the zip was accepted but only a 400 is shown ?
Did i do something wrong – or is my manual way then the better solution?
Hi,
I think that the best solution is such case is to import the fonts and add them as @import to the CSS file.
That would be the best way to do that manually.
