Hello,
I just updated to Enfold 3.0, and now the LayerSlider won’t load/show.
Here is the website: http://farumkyokushin.dk/
What could be a possible fix? Thanks.

Re-create all of your bwp minified files and then clear your cache. See if that fixes things for you :)
Best regards,
DevinOctober 1, 2014 at 3:20 pm #328160All cache has been flushed, file permissions has been reset and BWP Minified has re-created the files.
This didn’t solve the issue, unfortunately.
October 1, 2014 at 3:25 pm #328166There are still two errors which are typically related to incorrectly minified js files. You may need to change the order/settings on the plugin to correctly work with the updated version of LayerSlider that was included in the last update.
Also check that in your LayerSlider settings you only have the ‘Concatenate output’ selected.
October 1, 2014 at 4:35 pm #328251I have deactivated everything releated to minify (plugin and Cloudflare). Problem still persists.
October 1, 2014 at 7:04 pm #328385jQuery is still loading in the footer which means the slideshow code getting output along with the slider doesn’t have jQuery to use.
By default it should be loaded in header (jQuery) so if you have something else telling it to load in the footer that would be why its throwing an error and not displaying.
October 1, 2014 at 9:48 pm #328515It happened after updating to Enfold 3.0. I haven’t touched any settings other than deactivating minify everywhere.

October 1, 2014 at 9:50 pm #328517This reply has been marked as private.October 2, 2014 at 12:40 am #328581I have found out that enabling Cloudflare Rocket Loader™ (Web optimization) breaks the website when using Enfold 3.0.
This was NOT an issue running earlier versions of Enfold.
This must be an issue with the newly released Enfold 3.0.
October 2, 2014 at 2:15 am #328609Same exact issue and same solution verified – turning off CloudFlare Rocket Loader which as mp3dk stated was working prior to the Enfold 3.0 update. Also, I noticed that the LayerSlider would load correctly when using Safari (Mac), but would not work when using latest version of Chrome (Mac) prior to disabling RocketLoader.

October 2, 2014 at 2:30 am #328614Good to hear that I wasn’t the only one having the problem.
As a side note I am using Chrome v.37 (64 bit).

October 2, 2014 at 4:26 am #328633You can try change the LayerSlider settings to put the javascript in the footer from the LayerSlider main settings page. If that is something that the Rocket Loader is doing, which is what it seems like it is.
October 2, 2014 at 10:32 am #328814Thank you very much, very nice update. I have the same problem and the things Devin said was not helpful for me. I disabled the Rocket and the Layerslider’s issue solved. Please solve this problem because we need this Rocket as a helpful tools.
October 3, 2014 at 1:03 am #329376I’m not sure there is anything that *we* can actually do in this case. LayerSlider is not Kriesi’s plugin or code and we don’t have the ability to alter it to work with other plugins or scripts.
October 25, 2014 at 8:14 pm #341035Thank you guys for posting this thread and the solution. I found that this was my issue as well. And I think it’s actually related to Chrome and how it works with the Layerslider and Cloudflare. Here’s why:
I upgraded to WP4 and enfold 3.0.2 using latest version of Chrome Version 38.0.2125.104 m on windows 7 pro 64. With this configuration, the Layersliders would work on EVERY browser with the exception of Chrome. Even Chrome mobile worked fine, but the Chrome browser on all the PCs that I tried would not even attempt to load the layerslider.
I then disabled the Rocket Loader within CloudFlare (Last option under “Performance Settings” tab). I cleared the CloudFlare cache and the WP cache (I use W3TC). And now everything works on Chrome just fine.
The reason I don’t think it’s necessarily CloudFlare’s doing, is because it seems to work with other browsers just fine, which is very unusual. It might actually have to do with the update to W3TC. They now have something called Edge Mode which is in Beta. I haven’t tried that yet but it might resolve this issue. I am not going to be the one to try it though as I have wasted enough time resolving this issue already ;)
