    I have figured out how to create and activate a child theme, using Enfold. I’ve made a lot of customizations to the site.

    Now I understand there is an upgrade to the Enfold theme (parent theme in my case).
    Is there anything I need to know when upgrading the theme, since I’m using a child theme? Do I need to first activate the parent theme before upgrading, or not?
    Do you have upgrade instructions that I can follow step-by-step when using a child theme?

    You should not have to activate the parent theme when updating, you can refer to the documentation here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
