    Good morning,

I initially created enfold child and I made all the changes on the child.
my current version is 3.5.4 enfold. The update offers me the 3.7.1 version.
In order not to damage the site do I know what to do to upgrade?
I have to turn enfold parent, update and then reactivate enfold child?

I can also upgrade easily WORDPRESS from the current version 4.4.4 to version 4.5.3?

Response waiting I wish you good work

    Hi giomolinaro!

You do not need to switch to parent theme, you can simply click the button and parent theme will be updated. The same goes for the WordPress.
If you have made any changes on theme files that are not in your child theme, please move them into your child theme.

    Regards,
    Yigit

To be honest I did not understand what changes are you referring to with this phrase of yours:
“If you have made any changes on theme files that are not in your child theme, please move them into your child theme.”

I’m just afraid to make a mistake and make the site unusable.
If you were to give you the credentials to access the backend of wordpress you help me out please?

    Hi!

If you are not sure if you made any changes on parent theme files, to be on the safe side, please have a backup of your Enfold parent theme before updating. Everything should go smoothly, even if it does not, we are always here to help :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

You don’t have to activate the parent theme again. Just update the theme to the latest version and you’re all done. The theme options will stay intact after the update because it is saved in the database.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
