    I just took over support for a website using your theme, and they’re still on version 2.1 of Enfold. I bought a new license and entered my username and API, thinking I’d be taken to some sort of upgrade screen but the currently installed version says it’s up to date. What is your suggested method for moving from 2.1 to the current version, and what problems should I expect to encounter?

    I upgraded WordPress to the latest version and the Avia Builder doesn’t seem to work any longer, A slider on the front page disappeared and a contact form on the contact page also disappeared.

    All that was requested was provided in the private content field. What I want to do is upgrade it, but I’d love to know what issues I’ll likely encounter and what advice you might have for doing the upgrade. Any prep required or should I just do it? Should I upgrade WordPress to the latest version first? ANY other advice will be appreciated.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that and sorry for the late reply. Since you are running a very old version of the theme then you will likely encounter changes to a number of things, exactly what is difficult to say though. Maybe you could try to copy the site to a local or staging environment and perform the update there first, so that you can review what possible problems might arise before updating your production site?
