    Hey Stefano,

    When you update the theme then the parent will be updated, it doesn’t matter if you run a child theme or not, the parent will still be the only theme which is updated. The child is only there to override the parent and will never be updated automatically.

    Hi,

    The update will appear for your active theme, which is the child in this case. If you don’t believe me then simply try it out, your child will not be overwritten.
