GuestHello
I have a hosted website that I administer for a local summer tennis club, angbytk.se. I update content, not more. Anyway, the other day I needed to update a few pages due to the upcoming season but edit mode failed to load/complete. Updated WP to 5.1.1. No difference. Then I noticed that we are using a theme called Enfold with a version of 3.5.4. Has this version been purchased at some point in time? Would buying a licence to upgrade, Enfold resolve my issue? I also have some Google maps key issue that I guess might be related to the non editable pages. Please advice, cheers Niklas

Thanks for contacting us!
Enfold version 3.5.4 isn’t compatible with WordPress 5.1.1 since that version is already outdated.
Updating to Enfold 4.5.5 would resolve the issues you have but always have a backup first before doing an update.Best regards,

GuestOK, so I have purchased a regular license of Enfold. My current version of Enfold allows me to update given “Themeforest User Name” as well as
“Your Themeforest API Key”. How do I get an API key?Cheers Niklas

The version you have with Enfold uses the old API of envato which uses themeforest username and api key, however when envato changes their API it now uses a token.
Can you try to do this process to update Enfold (make sure to have a backup first):
1. Switch to a default wordpress theme like twentynineteen
2. Delete the Enfold theme
3. Upload the latest version of Enfold (enfold.zip) then set it as the active theme again.
You’ll just need to do this once and after that you can update theme in Enfold > Theme Update.Best regards,

GuestOur hosting partner, one.com, are saying that our Enfold based site stopped working when they updated to php 7.2. Before I start working with the updated version of the Enfold theme I would like to know if the updated version supports php 7.2?
Cheers Niklas
