    Hi, I’m going to update Enfold theme to 3.3.1 version (child theme with another name) and I’m afraid of some troubles or of loosing all personalization work (some code is in the custom css). Please can you tell me what are the safest updating process step by step? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hey maryhellensegatta,

    If you have kept all your customisations to your child theme you should have nothing to worry about, but I would recommend to do a full site backup before any type of updates to be sure you won’t lose anything on your site.

    What about settings via theme option (layout, colors, ecc.)? Where are stored? And it needs to export them to keep safe? thanks

    Hi!

    Yes, please export them in Enfold theme options > Import & Export tab to have a backup of your theme options. Theme options will remain the same as long as theme names are matching (if you have not changed theme name from Enfold to something else, do not worry)
