    hark

    Hi I have just tried to update the Enfold Theme and had an error :

    An Error happened when updating Enfold – could not remove the old theme.

    This has now locked me out in maintenance mode?

    Any ideas?

    Hey!

    Try removing the wp-content/themes/enfold folder via FTP and uploading a fresh copy of Enfold, use this video as a reference:

    Hey!

    It sounds like perhaps the permissions for your WordPress user aren’t set to allow folder deletion. I would suggest talking to your hosting provider and see if they can assist in checking and modifying them.
