    I am terified to update my theme these days. If I try to do a regular update like any other theme it breaks the site and I have to restore from a previous version. The other day I tried to update the site by redownloading the theme and uploading it with the “Update theme with Zip File” app and it really broke my site.

    Is there a way to update your theme without breaking the website – When if ever will you fix the theme updating on your product? If you have no intention of fixing it thats ok but I would like to know so I can start using a working theme for my customers.

    Here is the message I got for trying to update theme.

    Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.
