    Team, I am trying to update from a pre-4.0 version to 4.4/4.5.

    Is there a definitive guide on how to do this?
    Nothing I do helps me update.

    In short, I am trying to move a client website from a PHP 5.6 server to a PHP 7 server and the front end keeps breaking.
    I attempted turning off all plugins with no luck.
    I am now attempting to update the Enfold theme next with no luck.

    How can I update this theme without breaking it, losing data, or rebuilding it from scratch?
