    Hi guys, I haven’t updated the theme since version 4.2 and now would like to update to 4.7. I keep getting website critical errors. Is there a ‘best practice’ method to update from 4.2 to 4.7? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Klyphic,

    Actually, you can update it. The error is on Yoast internal page.

    The website will not break.

    Many thanks! I got it working by using the update theme via zip file plug in instead of using FTP.
