    Hi All

Enfold is stunning, and giving me the opportunity to try all sorts of things, however, once I create a new page template and save it for later use on lots of pages, the client (as they do) changes a couple of things and I have to change all pages individually as I can’t find a way to ‘update’ or ‘overwrite’ my custom page template as I can’t use the same name.

Am I missing how to do this simply ?

    Best regards

    Jeff

Sorry for any confusion, I am referring to the Avia Layout Builder templates and not the page templates.

    Hi,

You can’t overwrite them, what you can do is to edit them again. Delete the old template and save the new one.

    Hi Ismael

Thanks but does that mean that any old portfolio items using the original template would be updated automatically to the new version if I used the same name ?

    Best regards

    Hi Jeff,

Right now the templates are very minimal in their usage. They aren’t available for editing and then re-deploying after you’e used the template on another page but hopefully Kriesi will be able to add more in depth template editing functionality in the future.

So for now, if you create a template and then save it you aren’t able to then edit that template later.

    Hi Devin

Thanks for that, it would be great to have the editing and update facility going forwards, in the meantime I’ll have to be careful how I design things.

BTW, Enfold is terrific, maybe even better than Abundance.

    Best regards

    Jeff
