Is it safe to assume I can use the same child theme from my computer that I previously downloaded or do I need to download it from this link each time in case changes were made?
DO changes get made to the child theme or is it always the same file?

Thank you for making the child theme so easy to do, I have stayed away from using it in the past because I was worried I would mess something up if I tried to use it.

You can simply download same pre-built child theme here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/
No changes are made, some new functions may be added and commented out to provide ease of use :)Regards,
