Hi guys,
Cannot find another thread with this but I updated https://staging-ligadejusticia.kinsta.cloud/ to 5.5 and the Editor is not responding anymore. Cannot Add Media (button unresponsive, cannot add Tags and every box has two strange small boxes.
I disabled ALL of the plugins, cleared cache and the problem remains. I don’t see the Disable jQuery Migrate option under Performance anymore. Something is really strange.
Please help!
Thank you.
Sending you credentials. It’s Staging, so you can modify freely. Sorry… cannot send you credentials. It did not let me modify the password (button unresponsive)

VictoriaAugust 18, 2020 at 3:37 pm #1238817Hi Victoria,
It won’t update. I am going to delete the staging environment and create a fresh one. Hopefully the issue clears up. I will create a user for you before moving to 5.5 ;)
Will keep you posted!!
Thank you!!

August 18, 2020 at 5:27 pm #1238828Hi Victoria,
I deleted the staging environment, created a brand new one from Live. Updated to 5.5, updated to latest Enfold version. The same problem occurs. All wordpress buttons are unresponsive and there are strange rectangles inside of the classic and ALB editors.
I created s user for you before updating. Sending you the credentials.
This is very strange. Hosted on Kinsta.
Please, let me know if there is anything you want me to try.
Best,
Havi

Can you please make a screencast of the issue? I looked at some pages and the Advanced Layout Builder seems to work fine.

VictoriaAugust 21, 2020 at 12:19 am #1239684Hi Victoria,
Made a video. I cannot add an image to the posts, buttons are unresponsive and ALB doesn’t render. Check it out! It’s something with the child theme because if I switch to the Parent theme, everything works but I cannot figure out what.
Please, let me know if you have any ideas on how to solve this. Also, your credentials are the same. They have not changed. :)
Thank you!

August 22, 2020 at 6:53 am #1239932Hi Havi,
Thanks for the video and clarification. I can’t see any of the problems in your video happening on your actual site though, did you do something which made it work again?
Best regards,
RikardOctober 28, 2020 at 5:16 pm #1256420Hi Rikard!
It was a cache issue. I had to disable all of Enfold optimizations, then clear the server cache and the browser’s cache.
Meanwhile, I cannot add another support ticket and I have not just 4 active licenses, but some of my clients have their own active licenses as well. And I am having a “ghost” redirect. av-blog-meta-category-disabled so the category does not show but the code still has the category to page redirect active. (little summary, I like the category pages to look better than the standard WP category pages, so I create ALB pages and redirect /category/xyz to /xyz If I leave categories enabled on the posts, hundreds of 301s are created So I have to disable them. But they are still in the code and not visible on the blog post.
Thank you in advance for your help on both these issues!
Warm regards,
Havi

I’m not sure where we can see and reproduce your new problem?

RikardNovember 1, 2020 at 5:58 am #1257385Hi Rikard
Sorry I took those user details off, when I proceeded to try and resolve the problem myself and was able to put a sticking plaster on the problem by increasing max_execution_time to 3000
and max_input_time to 6000 in my php settings. I’m using php v7.4.11
It has fixed the time outs but not really the problem causing them which I really still don’t know.
However it is still taking ages to even preview a page. I find I have to update the page first, else if I don’t, it just keeps spinning for about 5 minutes before previewing. Updating is also slow but not as slow as previewing. Uploading pics has got slightly faster since increasing those settings above (also memory _limit was already on 256m). But is still slower than usual. `
I had turned all plugins off (except woo commerce) and the problem still persisted.
Regards
Steve -
