I updated Enfold Theme on my site today and my entire site crashed and won’t come up.
I’m also unable to log back in to the back-end of WordPress to try to update Enfold again.
Any suggestions on how to resolve an issue like this?November 3, 2017 at 4:26 am #871936Hey mbellush,
Are you receiving any kind of error on the page?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonNovember 3, 2017 at 4:34 am #871949Yes. I get the same errors whether I browse to one of the pages of the site or I try to login to the WordPress backend.
November 3, 2017 at 4:36 am #871952I think it’s the same errors that everyone would see when they go to the URL.
November 3, 2017 at 4:37 am #871954Hi,
Have you gone into the plugins folder and removed wp-super-cache?

Jordan ShannonNovember 3, 2017 at 4:39 am #871958No. How can I do that since I can’t access plugins through the WordPress admin panel?
November 3, 2017 at 4:45 am #871962Hi,
This would have to be done via ftp, or through your site host control panel.

Jordan ShannonNovember 3, 2017 at 5:02 am #871970I deleted WP Super Cache through C-panel. The site is still down and I’m still unable to access wordpess admin.
I’m getting a slightly different error list now.November 3, 2017 at 8:21 am #872015Hi,
No that the plugin was removed, please try installing a fresh copy of the theme.

November 3, 2017 at 2:33 pm #872156Hi,
As for what is in the database that will be safe. You will want to make a back-up of your current theme so that you can save any custom css, template changes, etc.

November 6, 2017 at 5:00 pm #873165Hi,
No those updates will are saved to the DB. This is just a theme update. As always though, please be sure to back-up everything before making such change.
