Hello,
we currently have the following situation:
We are using the Enfold Theme with Version 3.8 and want to Update it, but we do not have the Data-Account, because there was another admin and we don´t have contact with him.
So we bought a new Enfold Theme at Themeforest.
Now we woult like to Update it on WordPress. But how should we do that?
1) Can we use the .zip-file to upload it at wordpress as an “update” ?
2) or should we upload the unzipped files with our FTP programm to the Enfold-Folder ? If yes, which folder is the right one. Moreover – do we have to clean the folder first comletely?We really need your help. It would be great if you could help us.

You can update the theme either way, but right now it’s better for you to make a full website backup, update php to at least php7.2, delete old enfold folder and upload a fresh copy over FTP.
