    Hi guys

I discovered the following little issue after upgrading from Enfold 4.5.2 to 4.5.3:
    a) Update via FTP -> all good.
    b) Update via WP dashboard -> works as well, but if I check for theme and plugin updates again via “./update-core.php” it says:

You have installed Enfold 4.5.3. Update now to Enfold 4.5.3.

As I said, the update has been done successfully. For some reason it does not disappear after the update.
Maybe some kind of cache or how can I fix that?

    Thanks in advance
    Michael

    Hey Michael,

Please post the link to your site and the login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay

Thanks a lot for your extended answer.
However, I just rechecked and the update from 4.5.3 to 4.5.3 (yes it was displayed like this) is gone now.

So in short: all good, please close this thread.

    Best,
    Michael

    Hi,

Glad this is resolved! It must have been a false warning due to caching issue :)

Don’t forget to bookmark Enfold Documentation for future reference.

Thank you for using Enfold :)

    Best regards,
    Vinay
