    Hi Enfold users

    I had already upgraded WP to 4.2.2, then secondly upgraded Enfold from 3.0.8 to 3.1.5, and my footer widgets disappeared.

    I read another post that said if you update Enfold first, then update WP later, the issue of disappearing widgets does not occur.

    So I reverted Enfold to 3.0.8 and the footer widgets returned.

    How do I reconnect the content in the database to the new footer widgets if I upgrade once again to 3.1.5.

    Or do I need to downgrade WP first?

    Hi itchybrain!

    Could you check if they are still available in your inactive Widgets section? If not, you might have to downgrade WP and then update the theme and WP for it to work properly.

    Hi Rikard

    Thanks for your help with this.

    I re-installed Enfold 3.1.5 and the widgets disappeared again, so then I went to check in the Widgets Inactive area but nothing was there, so then I toggled back to the web view and the widgets were in place in the footer.

    I’m happy that they are back, but it seems that a toggle between the two areas helped it somehow.
