Hi, I wish to update to 3.0.4 yet my dash says I am up to date yet it is only on 3.0.2, and I have added my themeforest username and API. Saying that I manually want to update but logging into envato market/ themeforest yet I have no option to download the latest 3.0.4 for manual FTP upload. If there somewhere else I can find the latest version of enfold and why wont my wordpress dashboard update work?

3.0.4 should be available to download from your themeforest account. It’s not displaying there at all? In this case it would be best to contact themeforest support to see what is going on. I remember in the past they had a limit of 5 downloads per item though I’m not sure if they are still doing that or not.

Thanks for the reply. The update is not available for download and I have contacted themeforest support and who knows when they will reply but in the meantime I sit with a non functional site. Is there another option to get the update. Please….. as a matter of great urgency.

Enfold theme in ThemeForest Downloads section should be the latest one. Please try updating the theme via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/

Please understand I am not getting a response from themeforest as to why I have no option to download the 3.0.4 update. My site is a mess and I want to know if there is an alternative to getting this update via themeforest….who are not helping me here. All i need is to download this update…. why is it proving to be so difficult….is there no alternative to themeforest. I only purchased enfold last month so i was hoping not to be having as many issues as i am. Please offer me some real help here not just point me back to themeforest.

We do understand your situation but unfortunately only way to get the theme files is from ThemeForest. We do not have permission to distribute theme files. They should respond within 24 hours.

this is the response i get re my query: Envato Help can only assist with general Marketplace issues through the general support system. We’re unable to provide technical support for individual files.So in this regard how am i expected to get this update if they cant access my info. they say: In regards to your specific questions, you’ll want to contact the author of the item and request more information about this as they will have far greater knowledge of their own item. They say you will help, you say they will help. Nobody is helping
For your reference: I purchased and downloaded enfold theme Oct 2014 : The purchase code for this item is 5e5512f7-5c48-4d68-81e8-735be0ca8d85
In the meantime I will downgrade to 4.0 so please tell me how to disable updates so it doesn’t reload 4.0.1.

If you cannot find Enfold in downloads section on your Envato account, that is general Marketplace issue. I asked Kriesi to check the topic, please kindly wait to hear from him. Sorry for the inconvenience.
