    Hello guys,

    I purchased Enfold a few months ago and I haven’t updated the theme since. Today, I logged into my dashboard and saw that a 4.0.7 update is available, but when I clicked on the update button, the dialog box said that any changes made to the Theme Files will be lost.

    Now although I haven’t gone in and edited the PHP files for the themes or anything, I have made some modifications to the demo imported (adding different elements on the page etc.)

    Now, my question is this – Should I just go ahead and update this anyway? I have attached the link to my website in the content. I don’t want to break anything because I have forms and traffic coming into my website.

    Hey rohitraut,
    Since you haven’t gone in and edited the PHP files, you should not have any issues.
    Please consider making a backup with a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ just because it’s good practice :)
